I have great piece of mind knowing that I will receive a daily e-mail telling me the conditions at my vacation home on an island in Blue Hill Bay in Maine. When the message indicates a problem, I simply call my island contractor to correct whatever is wrong. There is no need to have someone check your house daily our to have all that un-necessary worry.

In January, 2004 a severe winter freeze hit Cape Cod, along with the rest of New England. As a result, demand for natural gas skyrocked and pipelines were not able to satisfy the demand in certain areas, including our summer home in Osterville. Thus, our furnace shutdown.
Thanks to ehomewatch, we were notified immediately as the temperature dropped in our home. We were able to get a technician in to shut off the water in the house and restart the furnace as the supply of natural gas increased throughout the day. Without ehomewatch, the potential monetary damage to our home and emotional damage to us would have been overwhelming. We rest easier knowing ehomewatch is there for us all day every day.

Twice we have come home to disasters -- frozen pipes that have now flooded and a toilet supply line that had burst. In both cases we had friends checking the house three times a week. We now have a very expensive property on Martha's Vineyard that is an hour's drive and a forty minute ferry ride away. We have had ehomewatch for almost two years now and I can't describe to you the peace of mind we get each morning when we receive our e-mail letting us know that the heat is on and that no water has been detected. When a problem occurs, you need to know immediately to prevent tens of thousands of dollars of damage. The cost is less than our deductible on our homeowner's policy!
